This website is operated by Nexus Realty Property Management Limited, NZBN 9429053702579, trading as Ray White Nexus Property Management, of 18 London Street, Hamilton Central, Hamilton 3204. In this policy "we" and "us" mean that company.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles.
The forms on this site ask for the details we need to reply to you: your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property you are asking about, and whatever you write in the message field. A maintenance request also asks what the problem is and when we can access the property.
Our website host records standard technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. That is used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for identity documents, bank details or credit information through this website. Tenancy applications and owner agreements are handled through our normal office systems, not through this site.
To answer your enquiry, prepare a rental appraisal, arrange a viewing, log a maintenance job, or carry out the property management services you have asked about. If you become a client or a tenant, the information you gave us here is used to set that relationship up.
Our form provider processes and delivers form submissions to our office inbox on our behalf.
We share information within the Ray White office network where that is needed to provide the service, for example when a maintenance job is passed to a tradesperson or a tenancy matter is handled by our accounts team.
If you fill in the home loan form and agree to it, your details are sent to Brett Wood at Loan Market Coast to Coast, a separate business, so he can contact you about your lending. From then on Loan Market handles them under its own privacy policy.
We disclose information where the law requires or allows it, including to Tenancy Services or the Tenancy Tribunal in a tenancy matter.
We do not sell personal information.
Enquiries are kept while they are being dealt with and for as long as we may need them for our business records. Information that forms part of a tenancy or management file is kept for the periods required by tenancy and tax law.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email nexuspm.nz@raywhite.com or phone 07 839 2222. We may need to confirm who you are before we release anything.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
